The World Baloch Organisation (WBO) is a non-violent and democratic international membership organization founded by Veteran Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Attaullah Mengal, dedicated to defending the Baloch peoples' political, social and cultural rights, to preserving their environments and to promoting their right to self-determination.

ISSUES WE WORK ON

The World Baloch Organization works on all issues related to the situation in Balochistan. Primary issues of concern are the rampant use of human rights violations by the Pakistani government, primarily the excessive use of enforced disappearances, torture and summary executions; the exploitation of natural resources, notably with regards to the brutal ongoing implementation of the China - Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC); governmental neglect as regards infrastructural and human development; Islamabad's use of extremist Islamist ideas to undermine peaceful, democratic and secular Baloch nationalism; as well as demographic manipulations, aiming at converting the Baloch a minority in their own homeland.

HOW WE WORK

The World Baloch Organization peacefully advocates for the rights of the people of Balochistan in a variety of ways at various national and international fora. Among other things, we focus on advocacy activities, convene conferences, seminars and cultural events related to the Baloch humanitarian cause, we participate in United Nation sponsored events and human rights mechanisms, we maintain this online portal and we collaborate with other human rights organizations and work together on issues concerning the human rights situation in Balochistan.
